ATF / Firearms License

We are also an authorized provider of background check services for new firearm licenses or renewals. go-Biometrics can capture your prints and save them to an encrypted file which contains your fingerprints and biographical information for ATF screening.

This typically requires a dedicated USB flash drive, but we will be guided by the specific instructions of the requestor.

Ink and Livescan Fingerprinting

Your fingerprints can be captured in the traditional way using an ink pad and making imprints on your desired card.

We also offer LiveScan, which is capturing your fingerprints using a scanner, then print them onto the card.

FD-258 Cards

Fingerprints are captured on the Standard FD-258 Card. This card is used for most fingerprinting purposes, such as employment screening, licensing renewal (nurse licenses etc.) and some immigration purposes.

If you do not have your own cards at the time of your appointment, we will supply them at an additional, but low cost.
Be sure to check with the requestor or prospective employer about what card is needed and whether they will supply them.

Getting your fingerprints done

Make sure you are ready for your appointment. Read our guide on how to prepare as well as to know what to bring. Your requirements may involve more than just appearing and get your prints captured.

• Number/Amount of Cards or copies. We provide 2 card with each appointment, additional copies attract an additional charge.

Gather your documents.

• For every appointment, the following are required:
• Government Issued Photo ID. This can be a passport, state issued ID card or Driver’s license.
• Fingerprinting cards (FD-258 or other card). If you don’t have cards, we can supply FD-258 cards at an additional cost.
• Any other documentation or forms deemed necessary for the appointment by the requestor.
